Normal Coat colours: Black, sometimes lava covered markings. Sometimes flaming appearances and ghostly black mists around them. Sometimes they aren't solid.
Normal Eye colours: Mostly red, sometimes yellow or orange. Very very rarely purple. All colours glow.

Hellhounds are often rumored to be evil spirits, but occasionally there are a few decent ones. One of the most famous decent hellhounds is Cerberus, the three headed hellhound who guards the gate to the underworld. However most are foul-tempered beasts that do not hesitate to attack.
Magic: Hellhounds do not have much magic, but if a creature glances three times into their eyes when they are angry, they are very likely to die. Also, hearing the howl of a hellhound may signal a death, or sometimes is the cause of death. However, most hellhounds have lost the ability to howl, and those that can are very, very rare.
Mating:
Hellhounds rarely mate as they do not see the point because they are immortal. However, when they do, it is a brief violent meeting, and often results in one of the two getting killed, usually the male.
Cost: Hellhounds cost money to make. The cost for now is 200 Silver Bones.
