She herself detested trespassers; if she caught anybody sneaking onto her land like she was sneaking now, she would be absolutely furious. Not to mention that they'd probably then burn in her flames. But equally honestly, she had always wanted to see the oh-so-special Moonshine Empire, with its palace of tunnels, its evil, powerful Gereksu fighters and all the rest. She hadn't really ever been out of the borders. That's all we are now, us non-Gereksu, she thought with no little fury. Weak little creatures pushed out into the edges of the world, while in the central lands the infected loll around in their palace and attack anybody who annoys them. We'll see about that. Stealing a glance around to check nobody was around, she moved further into the Empire's territory, her long brown tail flicking nervously and the flames on her body fluttering. If she was even more honest with herself, it was almost exactly like the cold Northern Lands which she called home, the Slopes that she had come to love despite the temperatures. There was nothing here for her. She should just leave. It would be safer and more honourable. But she'd come this far, and it was with a small thrill down her spine that she realised she didn't want to back out now. That would be cowardly. Today, she had already decided, was a day for honesty; and that meant she could accept that, perhaps, she was enjoying being a little mischievous for once. Suddenly, she heard a sound from behind. She whipped round, eyes straining for the source of the noise. "Who's there?"

Kurvoy began to patrol his borders, the cool air washing over him. It felt slightly odd, but he decided to travel without using his teleportation. Perhaps I should use this method more often? Nah, no need to waste time.
He was just about to travel to his home, when he noticed an odd scent. A strange creature was up ahead, and apparently on fire. It called out to him 'who's there'. [/i]As though I'm going to relinquish my advantage...
Kurvoy teleported over, directly in front of the creature, black mist marking where he had disappeared and now swirling around his paws.
"Me." was all he said, before teleporting around behind the creature.
"What are you doing here? Who are you? WHAT are you?"[/color]

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,0,true][atrb=width,500,true] | [atrb=background,http://i.imm.io/5FaG.png]Aoika jerked back in surprise as a Gereksu creature appeared in front of her. "Me," it said, and just as Aoi's quick eyes were beginning to take it in and try to recognise it it disappeared. Sensing it behind her, she whipped around and drew a protective cloak of flames around herself. "What are you doing here? Who are you? WHAT are you?" it asked. Aoika snorted in annoyance, the flames around her body flaring up as she glared at the creature- which she now recognised as a wolf. Unfortunately for her, it was larger than her. No matter. It looked like an Arctic wolf... and everybody knew that, in general, Arctic creatures weren't fond of fire. "I'm not an object," she snapped back. "You do not apply the word 'what' to me. 'What are you' is what you say about things that aren't even alive." She glared. "Things that have intelligence levels far below mine, though no doubt slightly above yours if you're challenging a Luxya all by yourself." She paused, then somehow managed to give him a condescending gaze whilst looking up at him. She straightened and fixed a confident smirk on her face. "Either way.... I asked first. Who is this that stands in front of me so arrogantly?" Aoika knew this was not smart, not at all. The wolf was a Gereksu and probably had packmates to call upon. Moreover, she was in his territory. But the way he'd talked to her really had her ever-so-slightly annoyed. A fireball began to grow in her fist. If he took this badly, he'd regret it.

"Why, you do seem to have the power of fire. A great gift," Kurvoy said smugly, although deep inside he was raging over the luxya's words. He tried to ignore them, but they tore at his heart. He tried to stand dignified, but he began shaking out of rage.
"How dare you address me like that! I am a general of the beautiful Moonshine Empire, and you are invading my land. Leave quickly, or face death!" he yelled angrily, snarling. If this creature wanted to join, she would have been a lot politer. I might not let her live anymore.
All he could thing about were those words, and cursing her, he tried to grab her and teleport her with him to the city's capital. He would probably get burned, by he decided it would be worth it for revenge.

She drew her flames around her like a protective cloak. It was tiring, and she was beginning to sweat from the exertion- and, yes, the heat- as the wolf cursed. She moved back just in time as he tried to grab her, flaring flames up around her body almost to the point of fainting. She was breathing hard with the effort involved with her power, a headache rapidly blossoming in her forehead. "I was going to just leave," she snapped at the wolf. "But now you've made me seriously mad." Flickering flames danced along her arms, but she was tired. Too tired. Suddenly she knew she couldn't fight now, not here in the cold without any preparation and tired as she was. "We'll meet again," she vowed, "and I will kill you." Turning around, she stalked off, long legs covering the ground swiftly as she loped away.

"You're not going to get away that easily! You have offended the Gereksu - Something which is unacceptable. The only allowance to your condition I can make is, well, after I kill you, I can raise you as my slave," He yelled at her, teleporting to her as fast as he could. He was beginning to tire too, but he was determined to stop her.
"Hello again, dear," he said nastily, growling and circling her. Despite the fact that she was faster than him, he thought that he could beat her. He gave her one final snarl to make sure she was away from him, and then teleported to the city's capital, planning to attack wherever the Luxya lived.
Soon, soon I can get my revenge.
