Hey there, new here and just curious about something.
This is considered a "fantasy animal" rp right? So does that mean that our characters can literally be anything that we want? Or are we restricted to certain species (such as the ones posted in the species board)?
If we are restricted to posted species, are we still allowed to make up our own? I do love to create species.
Just trying to figure out what exactly I'm allowed to do here. x3

Yes, you are allowed to make up your own species, and you may use any creature without having to make up a species page if you can prove that it is common (like unicorns, dragons, kitsume and so on) this is so we don't have to have millions of pages on species. It costs a hundred silver bones (currency) to create a species, but staff are allowed to create their own free of charge (so don't worry about the price).
Also, staff can create a page of a common mythical creature to prevent arguments over what exactly a creature might look like (especially for the bigger, more powerful creatures.)

Ah I see. So any mythical creatures already in existence are allowed then?
Now, is this restricted to animals only? I understand that one probably shouldn't join up and try to play like... a human. x3 But, werewolves, for example, which would be wolves that could turn into humans on occasion. Would that be alright? Or perhaps a character that looked like Anubis- human body, animal head?
Not that I'm thinking of doing such a thing, mind you. Now I'm just being curious. x3

Yes, they're fine. As long as its got a touch of difference somewhere, it's allowed. Actually, the Anubis-head-things sound like an interesting possible race to make. So yeah, you can create a character of any race as long as there's either a page on here on it, or you can prove it's common like dragons and so forth.
