The rules for character creation are fairly simple:
* No god-moding. This is were your character is the best of everything and always wins fights.
* No Mary-Sues. This is where your character is supposed to be the best looking character out there and is the best at everything. If you are concerned your character may be a Mary-Sue, here is a good test: ( www.ponylandpress.com/ms-test.html )
* Certain items and things for your character must be purchased at the store. If your character has them and you haven't bought it for them, you will be asked to edit your character before it gets accepted
* Wait until your character is accepted. If your character is not accepted, send a message to me, and I'll explain why it hasn't been accepted. You can then modify the character and try again.
* If you wish to create a new species, contact me with all the details. If I approve the species, you will be it's founder, and you have to then post about it's rules, general features and common powers/skills. Again, I must approve these. Do not create already existing creatures such as unicorns or griffins. They already exist, and don't need to be created again.
* If you wish to create a god of this world, you must seek approval from a staff member and buy the rights in the store. There can only be one god of a certain type of thing.
* Any creatures may form groups, even if they don't normally in nature.
* Once a species is created, you must ask the founder of that species for permission to create another of that species. Unless the founder is being unreasonable (notify staff, and they will be the final judge), you must follow what they say. When submitting the character to the character board, you must note the founder, and link to a post saying they approve of you making their species.
* If a species is intended to be rare, respect the rarity. Depending on the species, the founder will be the judge if you can make one.
* Characters have height limitations. I do not want to see giant wolves running around without buying the rights in the store.
* Do not steal another person's character. They created it, so it belongs to them. If you wish to have similarities, you must ask the creator of that character.
* Use the character creation form to submit your characters.
* Characters living in packs will get better protection, be able to hunt more easily as they will have teammates to help them, and have friends to help them when they are injured, ill, or otherwise unable. When they grow old, their pack will look after them. They also get to take part in pack plots.
* Characters who are loners can be any kind of animal. If you create one, you will be awarded 50 SB by staff. Loners can take part in any movement, cause or plot, as they are not restricted by the beliefs of their pack/pack duties/confines of pack territories. A loner can go into any territory, though may be confronted if they enter the territory of a particularly territorial pack/ a pack which they have antagonized in the past.
* Loners can live on their own while still belonging to, and fighting for, a cause or movement.
