The Xythri Mountains soar forbiddingly above the heads of most animals. They are cold and harsh, though the lower slopes are less so. Only the most nimble and hardy of animals dare to tread the upper slopes- it's a long way down...

On the borders of the rather expansive moor is the land of Sorcha, where trees, bushes and even the occasional fern dot the landscape. It is less of a forest and more of a wood: very sparsely populated by vegetation, allowing much sunlight to trickle down to the ground. So hunting here is easy, as visibility is very good. The trees provide some protection and a little shade, and can be climbed to escape from predators. A dirt road runs through its center, making travel here quick and easy.

Just beyond the Sorcha woodlands lies a deep but very narrow canyon carved deep into the earth where an earthquake left a jagged scar. The bottom of the canyon is lined with coarse sand and loose rock, while the walls are steep and slick, not at all easy to climb even with claws. Most creatures choose, if they must, to walk along the bottom, where the high walls and tall vegetation at the top shade the canyon floor from the sun's hot rays. The canyon is long, crossing more than half of the territory and tends to flood during storms. It is not wise to be down here if rain is in the forecast. It also can be frighteningly cold on the floor when night falls.

Just as it says on the tin, the Iosaa desert is a large sandy expanse that was once an ancient sea of some sort. Now, the water has gone from it completely, leaving it barren, dry, and void of all things save the occasional patch of dry and dying grass. Only the strongest, toughest, and most hardy creatures can survive out here for long during the scorching heat of the midday. At night, however, temperatures drop quickly and the sand dunes come alive with lizards, bats, snakes and small foxes, which are easy prey for dragons. A few other large predators find a way to live out here by hiding beneath the sand during the day, digging tunnels to underground springs for water.

A massive river that crosses the South territories, it is the largest river on the continent and is one of the most prized areas of land, despite being at the center of a large desert and muggy rainforest. Still, Kamas retains a lot of luxury at its banks, where the land turns to fine sand and gradually descends into the calm, soothing waters. The water is cool when it is hot out and hot when it is cool out, always providing relief to any animals wishing to swim in it. Though not deep, even at its center, it is teaming with fish, lined with the occasional trees for shade and cover, and has a few areas where beaver dams and sand bars form natural bridges for easy crossing. Simply an ideal stretch of land. How the harsh Iosaa gave birth to something so serene and beautiful no one will ever know.

An area filled with dark twisty tunnels that lead down into a central, giant cavern. The cavern is heated by the occasional burst of lava, and contains many mystical sights. However, most surface creatures like to call it Hell.
